GoldenRAM recently participated in PDAC 2025, one of the world’s leading mining conferences, held in Toronto, Canada. As part of the EU-funded projects featured at the European Union booth, GoldenRAM took the stage to present its innovative approach to securing sustainable raw materials for Europe along with representatives from the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) including HaDEA director Marina Zanchi and 19 HaDEA-managed projects showcasing opportunities and achievements in R&I for raw materials.

From the EU Booth to the Global Stage

GoldenRAM’s presentation was part of an EU project showcase on the 3rd of March, within a session that featured a lineup of cutting-edge projects contributing to raw materials research and innovation. Marko Savolainen on behalf of project coordinators VTT represented GoldenRAM in this session. More information on the participant projects and their presentations can be found here.

Beyond the presentation, GoldenRAM actively engaged with industry stakeholders at the EU booth. The conference provided an excellent platform to connect with representatives from mining and related industries and explore potential collaborations. During the event, GoldenRAM explored clustering opportunities with the TERRAVISION project. While discussions are still in the early stages, the alignment between the two initiatives suggests promising synergies in the future.

Meanwhile, participation in the ESMIN (European Sustainable Mining Network) gathering offered an opportunity to engage with representatives from the projects shaping the network.
